Holston mountain/ Pinnacle Mountain fire Tower
Both of these fire towers are located in the upper part of East Tennessee. Holston mountain is a 100 foot tower and was once a live in cab style, but the cab burned down in a fire.
Pinnacle Mountain fire Tower was once a live in cab its self but was restord to a metal cab systel in 2011
Starr Mountain Fire Tower
This is a 30 foot live in cab style fire tower. Is located in the star mountain zone of the Cherokee national Forest in Tellico Plains Tennessee. The tower is closed off to the public.
House Mountain Fire Tower site
The House Mountain fire tower site is located in Corryton, Tennessee. This was a 100 foot fire tower that was built back in 1951. I was removed from the top of the mountain into thousand and one and re-locate it at the lone Mountain State Forest office as a demonstration model. The tower is now only 10 feet tall.
Waucheesi (Tellico Plains) Fire Tower Site
Deep in the Tellico Plains Ranger District. The Waucheesi Fire Tower Once stood. This was a very unique fire tower, all this was just a small little cabin built on top of the mountain.
Hall`s Top Fire tower
High above Newport Tennessee sets the Halls top fire tower, also known As Stone Mountain Tower. This is a beautiful example of a 1930s Aermotor fire tower. if you don't mind a 6 mile drive up dirt, switch back roads, you can drive right up to the tower.
Laurel Grove Fire Tower
A Personal favorite of mine. The Laurel Grove fire tower gives great views of the East Tennessee 3 Majorland forms, the Plateau, Valley and Mountains. This fire tower requires a 1 mile hike to the tower
Cove Lake Fire Tower
The Cove Creek fire tower is a 100 foot Tower. Sitting inside the Cove Creek wildlife management area. It has completely been overtaken by tree growth. All of its steps have been removed making it impossible to climb.

Bluff Mountain Fire Tower
This was my first fire tower over 10 years ago. It is a great tower for first timers since it is easily accessible. This 60 Ft fire tower gives great views of the Sevier county area, Including the Great Smokies .With less than 80 step to the cab.

The Mount sterling fire tower sits on top of Mount Sterling Ridge on the North Carolina side of the Great Smoky Mountains national Park. It is a 5.6 mile hike round-trip and if you have enough energy left there's fire tower that gives you beautiful views of the smoky mountains.

This fire tower is a sister to the Mount Sterling fire tower, the mount Shuckstack fire tower once fell into a major state of disrepair but local hiking clubs raise the money to restore the beautiful fire tower to its original state.If you don't mind a 8 mile round trip hike you can get beautiful views of Lake Fontana
